These sashiko mending packs come with 6 pre-printed sampler designs on beautifully heathered Japanese 100% cotton yarn-dyed fabric designed for sashiko. Yarn-dyed fabric means the threads used to create the fabric are dyed before the fabric is woven with a slightly open weave, perfect for stitching. The printed patterns will gradually fade with washing.
The total piece of fabric measures 8 x 39.5 inches. Each printed section measures approximately 4.75 x 6.5 inches with enough fabric surrounding the print to make a clean edges on your patch. They can be used to patch clothing or as embellishments on garments, bags, quilts, or home accessories.
