If you've ever been to our shop then no doubt the gigantic yellow ball of yarn atop our wall of yarn has caught your eye. It's made by an incredible San Francisco based company called Love Fest Fibers. They produce some of the most thoughtful and unique extra-chunky yarns we've ever seen, and we're super excited to announce that Britt, the founder, will be here with all of her company's incredible yarns for a trunk show starting Feb. 11th at 10 a.m.! Come early and you'll also get a chance to snag a chair massage from our continental knitting teacher Jessie! This day is all about self-care and love!
From hand-spun Tibetan yak and sheep fiber, to Alpaca grown and spun in Washington, some of which is also spun with recycled plastic fiber, to New Zealand wool dyed by artists in Nepal, Love Fest Fiber's array of yarns are truly unique and each one has a special emphasis on how it's made and where it comes from. They'll also be here showing off their newest Plush Love line of New Zealand wool that's been lofty-spun and dip dyed by artisans in Nepal. The show will run for two weeks, but if you want to hear about this great company directly from the owner then be sure to come by on the 11th!
